Lancaster County’s planning commission has narrowly approved a rezoning request for two parcels near Yankee Point Marina, paving the way for an expansion of boat trailer storage. The move, prompted by the need for more access to waterways, comes despite concerns from neighbors about potential increased noise and traffic. The commission also recommended revisions to the waterfront overlay district, which would change minimum lot size requirements in certain areas. Both issues will now go before the board of supervisors for final approval.
