The annual Yorktown Day Parade, celebrating the 1781 Revolutionary War victory, has been canceled because of the federal government shutdown. Organizers say however, most of the other events that are usually held on Main Street and at the Victory Monument, will move to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Wreath-laying ceremonies and a special exhibition on the Revolutionary War will still take place.
