The Virginia Oyster Trail has unveiled a redesigned website to help locals and visitors explore the state’s oyster regions more easily. The trail, active since 2015, highlights farm-raised oysters and the unique flavors, or “merroir,” of each region. Users can now download itineraries for oyster-themed trips, including wine pairings in Williamsburg, beer tours in Yorktown, and oyster-and-antiques excursions in Reedville. The update comes ahead of the Urbanna Oyster Festival, set for November 7 and 8.
