About 35 local residents recently attended a public session at Lancaster Elementary School to review potential improvements along Irvington Road and North Main Street. VDOT representatives outlined options including roundabouts, traffic signals, medians, and dedicated turn lanes to improve traffic flow and safety. The projects are part of the STARS program, which considers congestion, development, and pedestrian safety. Public comment on the proposals closed yesterday.
