Josh Hammond will officially become president of VCU Health Tappahannock Hospital on Dec. 7, after serving as interim leader since June. Hammond will manage daily operations and clinical services while guiding strategic initiatives for the hospital serving the Northern Neck region. He brings 14 years of healthcare leadership experience, including previous roles at VCU Health in Richmond and Sentara Health in Norfolk. Hammond succeeds Liz Martin, who retired in June.
