The Reedville Fishermen’s Museum is now officially open for the season, featuring new exhibits such as displays by the Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association, a Smith Point Sea Rescue exhibit, and handcrafted fishing boat models. A tribute to retiring Capt. Alan Hinson is also on display. Thanks to a grant from the River Counties Community Foundation, the museum now offers interactive kiosks and new signage highlighting it’s rich history. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
