Northumberland schools are finalizing payments and budget adjustments from the 2024-25 fiscal year. CPA Jack Regan says only a handful of checks remain, with $190,000 needing reallocation to complete proper appropriations. Once closed, a $122,000 surplus will return to the county. The board also approved funds to add two used school buses and instructed preliminary work for possibly consolidating the elementary school well, aiming to ensure better financial management and infrastructure planning for 2025-26.
