The Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron is hosting a series of free boating seminars and certification courses this November. On November 9, participants can attend seminars on safe propane systems and trailering boats. A two-day Virginia Boating Safety course will run November 29 and December 6, offering hands-on training with a Boating Skills Virtual Trainer and a free Vessel Safety Check. Those completing both sessions will receive a Virginia Boater Certification Card. Classes are held at 453C North Main Street in Kilmarnock, with registration available by phone or email.
