Kilmarnock has appointed Cynthia Scott as its newest councilwoman following a unanimous vote by the mayor. Scott will fill the vacant seat and represent the town on local matters including community development and public services. Scott’s term begins immediately, and she is expected to participate in the upcoming budget and planning sessions.
