The Virginia Senate has passed a bill regulating data centers. The bill was passed yesterday and will require companies wanting to build data centers in the state to get additional approval from the locality where they want to build. The state of Virginia has hundreds of companies holding data centers throughout the state. Any data centers already built and approved in the state will not be impacted.
