Midlothian High Graduate Killed In Brown University Shooting

Mukhammad Umurzokov, a recent Midlothian High School graduate, was one of two killed in a classroom shooting Saturday at Brown University. Umurzokov, a freshman studying biochemistry and neuroscience, had dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon. Nine others were injured in the attack. Brown University has canceled classes and exams for the rest of the semester. A GoFundMe to support the victim’s family has so far raised more than $286,000.
