Melissa Crawford, Middle Peninsula Regional Executive and Vice President, Director of Business Services at Chesapeake Bank, will retire at the end of the year after a 27-year career. Bank officials praised her leadership, customer service, and community engagement. Steve Callis will assume Crawford’s regional executive role while continuing as Senior Lender, and Amber Saloka will be promoted to Vice President, Director of Business Services, managing business development responsibilities. Chesapeake Bank, founded in 1900, serves communities across Virginia with more than 290 employees.
