An information session is scheduled to highlight a new Medicare program aimed at supporting people living with dementia and their caregivers. The event runs at 1 p.m. February 20 at Lancaster Community Library. Presenters will explain Medicare’s new GUIDE Model, which offers coordinated care, caregiver education, and annual respite services for eligible participants. Officials with Bay Aging say the program is designed to reduce caregiver stress and help participants remain safely at home longer.
