Plans to develop Essex County’s 700-acre Rotary Poor House Park are moving forward. The Economic Development Authority is working with engineering firm TRC to create a master plan that could include athletic fields, commercial development, and community amenities. Federal RAISE Grant funding and possible support from the Land and Water Conservation Fund could help cover planning costs. EDA officials say the project is still in early stages, but potential uses include recreation, economic growth, and improving connectivity across the county.
