A lavender farm could soon take root in Kilmarnock. The town’s planning commission voted 6-0 to recommend rezoning a Clifton Avenue property from residential to agricultural. The request came from landowner Kevin Noll, who plans to grow and harvest lavender. Town council will hold a public hearing on the proposal May 19.
