The Lancaster County Lions Club donated $3,000 to six area food pantries ahead of Christmas. Each pantry, including White Stone Baptist Church, Kilmarnock Baptist Church, and the Upper Lancaster Community Food Pantry, received $500. Lions Club members say fighting hunger is a core mission, and the donations were boosted by matching funds from the Lions Charity Foundation of Southeast Virginia and the Lions of Virginia Foundation.
