Kilmarnock is moving ahead with plans for a new bicycle park. Town council approved nearly $20,000 for a concept design by Avid Trails. The park would sit on a 7.8-acre site at Town Centre Park, with features for riders of all skill levels. The plan focuses on using the land’s natural slopes, with low-maintenance design in mind. A final design and cost estimate will follow. The vote passed 6-0.
