Westmoreland County will host its spring Household Hazardous Waste collection on Saturday, May 17, from 9 to 2 at the A.T. Johnson Building in Montross. Residents can drop off items like old paint, pool chemicals, gas, and pesticides at no cost. Onsite document shredding and prescription drug disposal will also be offered. Electronics, ammo, and tires won’t be accepted. The event is open to county residents and property owners.
