37 year old Michael John Gardiner has agreed to a plea deal, receiving 25 years for the murder of Westmoreland schoolteacher Taylor Wood. Wood was killed and her home set on fire November 27, 2022, along with the deaths of her three dogs. Gardine lived with Wood at the time and was her boyfriend. He admitted in the plea deal, to five felonies.
