Extreme Cold Weather Leads To Extreme Fish Kill

All the recent cold weather has caused a significant fish kill in local waters. Commercial watermen report seeing dead puppy drum and red drum in multiple creeks, including Edwards Creek, Stoakes Creek, and Lane’s Creek. The cold temperatures have stunned the fish, with many found dead in the shallows and some frozen in the ice. Noting similar incidents in previous years, they now warn that such extreme cold can lead to mass fish fatalities.
