Deltaville Maritime Museum is now a featured destination in the Virginia 250 Passport, a statewide program celebrating America’s 250th birthday. Organized by the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, Colonial Williamsburg, Mount Vernon, Monticello, and the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, the initiative encourages visitors to explore 70 historic sites across the state. Free 64-page passports are available at signature sites, welcome centers, and select events, offering travel tips, discounts, and collectible stamps. Travelers collecting at least five stamps can enter a prize drawing in December 2026 with cash awards up to $2,500. Museum officials say the program highlights Tidewater’s maritime heritage and invites families to explore the region’s history.
