The Colonial Beach Town Council has voted to carry over funds to finish its park development projects. The move follows the adoption of a Parks Master Plan in December 2023 which outlines upgrades and improvements for local parks. Council members say the carryover ensures the town can fully execute planned recreational enhancements, maintaining momentum on community green spaces and public amenities. Work on the parks is expected to continue as the town allocates the remaining budget.
