Tolls on the Coleman Bridge are coming down. The Virginia General Assembly’s new budget bill ends all toll collections on the span linking Gloucester Point to Yorktown starting January 1, 2026. Tolls were first imposed in 1952, dropped in 1976, then brought back in 1996 to fund a widening project.
