Chesapeake Bank donated $1,000 to the Bluff Point Community League to help replace part of the 110-year-old roof at Bluff Point Graded School #3. The school, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the focus of ongoing preservation efforts by Bluff Point Community League. Community members are invited to support the cause, and two fundraisers are planned this fall: an oyster shell decorating workshop on September 27 and the annual yard sale on October 25.
