Authorities say the body of a man was recovered Tuesday morning in the York River near where a swimmer vanished days earlier from Gloucester Point Beach. Gloucester County deputies believe the body is that of 50-year-old Steven Kendall Wright of Richmond, who was reported missing Sunday afternoon after he failed to resurface while swimming. Camp Peary Police found the body floating face-down around 10 a.m., about half a mile from the Gloucester Point Fishing Pier, near the middle of the river.
