Toys for Tots organizers thanked residents and businesses for their support during this year’s campaign, which collected more than 1,572 toys. They say the collection, running from early October through December 15, went smoothly thanks to coordination between the Marine Corps League Detachment 1317 and the county’s Department of Social Services. The annual effort ensures toys reach children in need and it highlights the community’s generosity for making the season bright for local families.
