Lancaster County is moving forward with expanding public water access. After opening Westland Beach & Fishing Pier last fall, officials expect to complete two more projects this year. Harpers Creek, off Windmill Point Road in White Stone, will feature a boat ramp, fishing pier, and ample parking. County leaders say these projects are part of a broader effort to provide more recreational opportunities and improve access to the region’s waterways. Work on Harpers Creek is in the final stages, with the second site expected to follow later this year.
