The 68th Urbanna Oyster Festival will take place next Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8, featuring two parades, live music on three stages, historic buyboats and tall ships, and the Virginia Oyster Shucking Contest. Festival highlights include the crowning of the 2025 Oyster Festival Queen and Little Miss Spat, more than 100 food and craft vendors, children’s activities, and wine and craft beer tastings. Admission is free, with $20 parking supporting festival programs. Visitors can also explore the waterfront, tour historic boats, and enjoy interactive exhibits focusing on Chesapeake Bay conservation and local maritime history.
