The Virginia Rural Leadership Institute wrapped its three-day program with a graduation ceremony October 17 at Wind Vineyards. The 2025 cohort included 21 participants from across the state, featuring local government officials, non-profit leaders, and small business owners. The program, hosted by the Virginia Rural Center, provides leadership training and community impact projects designed to boost economic development in rural areas. Graduates will take lessons from the program back to their communities to drive growth and innovation.
