Authorities are continuing to investigate the death of 60 year old Robert Scott Smith, found on his liveaboard sailboat at the Deltaville Yachting Center a week ago. According to the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office, Smith had not been heard from since the previous Saturday. There’s no evidence of foul play they say, and an autopsy is expected to provide more details surrounding his death. Smith’s large dog, found alone on the boat, was taken to the county shelter. His daughter was, at last word, expected to pick up the dog and handle arrangements. Anyone with information is asked to call 804-758-2779.
