Renovations are underway at the historic Kingston Rectory on Main Street in Mathews, with a second round of fundraising launched to convert the building into two workforce apartments. Six community donors are offering to match $50,000 in new contributions. The project addresses a local housing shortage affecting teachers, first responders, and other essential workers.
