Angel Skelton Jett is running for the Central District seat on the Essex County School Board in the November 4 election. A lifelong Essex resident and 1991 graduate of Essex High School, Jett has strong local ties, including her oldest daughter, who graduated from Essex High in 2022 while earning an associate degree from Rappahannock Community College. Jett says her experience as a parent and community member motivates her to serve on the board and support local education initiatives.
