Town leaders from White Stone, Irvington, and Kilmarnock welcomed Tangier Mayor James Eskridge for the premiere of Been Here, Stay Here at Compass Cinema Six. The documentary highlights Tangier Island’s history and its fight against erosion. Due to strong interest, showings have been extended through September 18. The Kilmarnock Museum is also hosting a raffle, with prizes including a plane trip to the island.
