Mathews County has filed motions asking the Circuit Court to dismiss the temporary injunction allowing Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill to operate after its July eviction. The county also seeks to continue court dates and require the restaurant to pay $6,000 monthly for pump and haul services. The restaurant has filed its own motions, requesting a continuance and the disqualification of County Attorney Andrea Erard, claiming she is a key witness. Hearings are scheduled for Sept. 3 and Oct. 23, with both sides arguing over alleged breaches, damages, and legal remedies.
