Historic Christ Church & Museum has kicked off a new lottery fundraiser aimed at supporting preservation efforts, education programs and community outreach tied to the 1735 landmark. Only 250 tickets will be sold at $100 each, available online or at select locations. Interim prizes include jewelry and a private catered cocktail party, while the top cash prize is $3,000. Final drawings take place October 18 during the annual Chesapeake History Forum.
