Tappahannock officials say plans for the Hoskins Creek Project are taking shape, with a new seafood restaurant and lodging units set to open in 2026. The town has secured more than $1.8 million in grants for the waterfront development, including funds for docks, a kayak launch and a living shoreline. The restaurant, to be called Tapp Seafood Company, will seat 250 guests and feature four or five lodging units above. Pack Brothers Hospitality will operate the facilities, aiming for a casual, affordable dining experience.
