Lancaster County supervisors are considering another real estate tax increase to help fund the Fiscal Year 2026 budget. The proposal would raise the rate from 55 to 57 cents per $100 of assessed value, generating roughly $1.3 million more in revenue. Despite that, the $50.5 million plan still relies on pulling over $1.1 million from reserves to break even. Last year’s double-digit hike raised property tax revenue by nearly 25%.
