<<The biggest chunk—nearly $4 million—is slated for the 2026 fiscal year. The plan includes funds for schools, public safety, and government operations, including $1 million to replace the courthouse HVAC and $551,000 for a long-delayed elementary school playground. Another $390,000 is earmarked to replace a school well after a grant opportunity was missed. The plan now heads to county supervisors for a public hearing and final vote. >>
