Puller Center Budget Approved

The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors approved nearly $170,000 in additional costs to complete the Puller Center renovation, turning it into the new headquarters for the Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services. The approved funds will cover $77,951 for roof and gutter repairs and $91,891 to pave part of the parking lot. The work, expected to finish by May 2, brings total costs to 13.1% over the original $3.3 million bid. Supervisors commended Sheriff David Bushey for overseeing the project and keeping costs down. A separate $16,552 change order was also approved for relocating the electrical feed to the fire pump.
