50th Anniversary Of WKWI Radio Celebrated In Exhibit At Kilmarnock Museum

The Kilmarnock Museum will open for the season next Wednesday, April 2, with a new exhibit that hits close to us right here… It celebrates the 50th anniversary of WKWI radio. The station first began broadcasting in 1975. The exhibit highlights the station’s history, including its broadcasts, its iconic tower, and even weddings hosted on-air. The museum is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment.
