Virginia Lawmakers Advance $205 Billion Budget
Virginia lawmakers have approved a two-year, $205 billion state budget that includes teacher raises, higher education funding, housing programs, child care assistance, and a new tax on data centers. The spending plan now heads to Governor Abigail Spanberger, who must act before the new budget takes effect July 1.
