Historic Skipjack To Visit Reedville
The historic Chesapeake Bay skipjack Sigsbee will visit Reedville June 17th and 18th, offering free deck tours and educational programs tied to America’s 250th anniversary celebration. The 125-year-old vessel will join the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum’s skipjack Claud W. Somers, giving visitors a chance to explore two of the bay’s few remaining traditional sailing workboats.
